We invite submissions for individual papers, panels, roundtables, book panels, and side events. We especially encourage submissions of pre-formatted (fully formed) panels.
Requirements:
Single Papers: Title, abstract (up to 250 words, including research questions, key findings, and methodology), author & co-author information (name, institutional affiliation, career level, and e-mail address).

For panels, roundtables, or book panels, we highly encourage you to identify a chair in advance. We cannot guarantee that we will be able to find one for you. Discussants are optional.
Deadlines:
October 16, 2026: Conference Application Portal Closes
December 18, 2026: Notification of Conference Acceptance
January 2027: Registration Opens
February 1, 2027: Deadline for all scheduling requests
March 6, 2027: Early Bird registration deadline
April 3, 2027: Final registration deadline
April 20, 2027: Conference Program is available
You do not need to be a member to submit a proposal, however, you must be a CES member to be eligible for discounted rates. All presenters, chairs and discussants must register in order to participate at the conference. You can become a member or renew your membership here.
The conference will be an in person event. We are not accepting applications for online or hybrid panels.
